Two Universes in the Cosmos (Series A)

Expressing hope for a new, positive future, Ikegami’s “Two Universes” can be viewed as parallel entities or overlapping forms. Carved so that the viewer can see from one to the next, this work suggests the ways in which individuals can and do effect each other, despite apparent lack of connection. Simple and striking, this work embodies Ikegami’s particular blend of meaning and aesthetic.
