Intelligent Being – By Eileen Shahbazian

Simply rounded and with one flared eye protruding starkly into space, this sculpture may seem to be anything but an “Intelligent Being.” Nevertheless, Shahbazian seems to invite the viewer to interact with her design and to consider the possibility of intelligent life beyond the realm of human comprehension; thus calling her audience to act as an intellectual being akin to her own work.
