Evolution - By Jane B. Grimm
A small white protuberance takes a journey through visual time and space to become something akin to its former self in Jane B. Grimm's "Evolution." Touched with subtle color one moment and bursting from its circular confines the next, the sphere evolves in shape and detail, only to once again reach its original form. While the bulbous shapes have only slight external differences, the ultimate change is observed by the viewer through the middle sequence, which illustrates the greatest aspect of the evolutionary process- the often unseen path that marks the steps of change.
