- PanAbrasive, - A member of the Wheelabrator Allevard Entreprises group of companies. - PanAbrasive produces high quality cast steel shot and grit used for a wide range of applications, from sand removal for foundry products to shot peening in aeronautics industry. Steel abrasive comes in round (shot) or angular (grit) form, ranging from 0.004 to 0.03 in. in size. It is produced by the atomization of molten steel, followed by a series of thermal and mechanical treatments in order to give the product is final characteristics. The production process is highly controlled and the plant has recently been awarded the ISO 9002 Registration for the high quality of its products.
