boston lawyers organization whose goal is to preserve operating carousels and the art of the antique wooden carousel. Our International
membership includes preservationists, carvers, artists, collectors and people who just love carousels. Many are
recognized authorities on carousels and carousel figures and several have written books on the subject. Members are
willing to help identify a carver, give advice on restoration and share their knowledge and experience with

- Dentzel Carousel Company "After more than 150 years, the Dentzel
Carousel Company is still owned and operated by the Dentzel family. Fifth generation carouselmaker, William
H. Dentzel III has continued on in his father's, grandfather's, great and great-great grandfather's traditions.
His company makes smaller "flying horses" machines today, along with the whole variety of Dentzel menagerie
animals from horses to kangaroos."
