Chetverikov spent his childhood and teenage in Almaty. His works are in private
collections of Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Estonia, Kazakhstan.
- Moscow State - Vadim Sidur
Museum (Russian, English) Vadim Sidur (1924-1986) is
one of the greatest Soviet artists and sculptors, "the Soviet Henry Moore" as
Western journalists used to call him back in the seventies. A nonconformist
artist, he was oppressed by the Soviet authorities for his artworks were a
striking antithesis, both in form and in essence, of the canons of socialist
realism. In the thirty years of creative work he authored over five hundred
sculptures and over several thousands of graphic pieces. Numerous exhibitions
and publications made Vadim Sidur widely known in the West in his
