- The Henry Moore
Foundation - The Henry Moore Foundation was created by the sculptor
Henry Moore in 1977 to 'advance the education of the public by promoting their
appreciation of the fine arts, particularly the work of Henry Moore. The
trustees pursue this aim through four principal activities: the display and
study of Moore's work (Collections and
Exhibitions); the Henry Moore
Institute, a centre for the study of sculpture; collaborations with artists
and galleries to show new work (Contemporary
Projects), and a programme of grants and donations to institutions in
support of exhibitions, conservation, commissions, research and small capital
needs. See: Research
