Steel Sculptures, Fountains by Sculptor Aristides Demetrios I have
been designing and fabricating sculpture for public spaces for 40 years.
My philosophy of art is to use art as a means of communications, as a forum for
education; the intent is to create a work of art that through its message will
give something back to the community by way of those who view and experience the
art. See: Fountains,

- Walter S. Arnold - Sculptor -
Virtual Sculpture Gallery - Walter S. Arnold carves gargoyles in limestone and marble. He also carves fireplaces, fountains,
and other sculpture. The word "Gargoyle" shares a root with the word
"Gargle"; they come from "gargouille", an old French word for "Throat". A true
gargoyle is a waterspout. An unusual carved creature that does not serve that
purpose is properly called a "Grotesque". See: Garden Sculpture, A Stone Menagerie, Public Sculpture, Architectural Ornament Contact: walter@stonecarver.com or
