Acrylic Sculpture
- Fine Art Acrylic From
1984, Fine Art Acrylics, Inc. began casting of Limited Edition Sculptures for
such well-known artists as Frederick Hart, Ann Froman, Richard MacDonald,
Michael Wilkinson, Ernest Caballero, Ann Marie Paul, Angelo Basso and others. We
began experimenting with acrylics in 1977. Years were spent in testing and
developing techniques to realize acrylic’s potential, embedding objects into it,
forming it into sculptured shapes, adding pigment, making it hollow inside and
so on. See: Working with

- Ernest Caballero Gallery- Fine Art Acrylic Online - Acrylic Sculptures - Foundry In 1988, a
major transition occurred with the beginning of Ernest's exploration into the
world of clear acrylic Lucite). With this new medium, a sculpture now has the
added dimension of light, not only on the surface but through the very sculpture
itself. Ernest believes that mythological imagery cast in this material actually
makes the spirit within the artwork more accessible to the viewer.
