- The Academy of American Doll
Artists, AADA "The Academy of American Doll Artists (AADA,
The Academy) is a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to actively
promoting the Original Artist Doll as an Art Form and to supporting the artists
who create them". AADA is a membership organization. We do not jury artists
for membership; it is open to all artists who make or wish to make original
one-of-a-kind or limited edition dolls, regardless of their level of artistic
and/or technical development - Student, Apprentice, Professional, and Master.

- National Institute of American
Doll Artists (NIADA) - "The National Institute of American Doll Artists
is an organization of doll artists and supportive patrons whose purpose is to
promote the art of the original, handmade doll. NIADA was founded by Helen
Bullard in 1962 with assistance from fellow doll artists Gertrude Florian, Magge
Head, and Fawn Zeller. These four, plus seven other nationally known doll
artists, wished to work together toward a common goal-recognition of original
handmade dolls. NIADA holds an Annual Conference during the summer that is open
to doll artists, collectors, and others interested in the art of the doll. NIADA
has published a book featuring color photographs and information about the

- Professional Doll Makers Art Guild

member), the Doll Artisan Guild continues it's aim to provide the finest
porcelain dollmaking education in the world. Over 12,000 members around the
globe receive Doll Artisan Guild endorsed magazines: Dollmaking or Doll Artisan . The Guild provides
seminars, hosts conventions and doll competitions, and continually trains it's
100+ Doll Artisan Guild Instructors in the latest techniques of fine porcelain
dollmaking.
