Texas - Sculptors
- Professional Member: Art
Blevins, Sculptor - Art Blevins - "His subject
matter ranges from portraits and bas relief to sculptures with allegorical
themes. Art especially enjoys portrait sculpting. He doesn't just "make faces,"
but strives instead to capture the uniqueness of the individual rather than just
a likeness. Art has completed numerous portrait commissions of children and
well-known individuals. His work is represented in both terra cotta and bronze,
and is in both public and private collections." See: Gallery, Classes, News, Commissions. Contact: artblev@itexas.net or 817-573-4248

- Borsheim Arts Studio - Kelly Borsheim - I began my
study of sculpture in 1994. Previously, I had studied the figure in photo
restoration and painting and I still study it. The lines and shapes of the human form are
intriguing, beautiful, and unique. When I began sculpting for bronze and later,
in stone, I expanded my subject matter to include marine life.

the "Joie de vivre" is best conveyed in her bronze; apparent since her first

have inspired much of Ms. Doerr's work. See: Asian, High Lonesome, Femme

- Sculptor, Bridgette
Mongeon - Bridgette
Mongeon Ms. Mongeon is an artist, sculptor, writer, educator and a wife and
mom too. Almost 20 years ago, I began experimenting with sculpture. Quite by
accident I stumbled upon this medium during a family vacation. I have had
opportunity to sculpt the famous and to sculpt countless children, pets and
people. With my sculpture I have the privilege to bring beauty, art and
happiness into peoples lives. See: Portraits &

- Sandifer
Sculpture - Rosie Sandifer -
The sculpture and painting of Rosie Sandifer is exciting in its qualities of
direct statement. The artist is extremely well disciplined and has great
sensitivity toward all subject matter. In the confusion of today’s concern for
style, I find it very encouraging to see a young artist finding out through
personal experience the kink of forms and character that come through the
heart. See: Portraits, Public
