• Lucinda Wierenga - Sandy Feet - For many years my specialty was castles and I can include an incredible amount of detail even on a very small scale -- my hand-carved "SanDrops" fit in the palm of your hand. I also create custom centerpieces of sand - a great alternative to ice.  I also have a talent for duplicating logos, names and line drawings in sand. This is a helpful skill for a sand sculptor to have as most sponsors want to see their names prominently displayed somewhere on the sculpture. Over the past year or so I have found myself drifting away from castles into new territory for me - figure and face carving. I do not claim to be the best, but I can compete with the best and not feel embarrassed by the results.
