Water Works

Water Works – By Roberta Daar

Ebbing and flowing with the subtle force of a tidal flow, “Water Works” evokes a sense of peaceful motion. Crafted to sit in the fold of two walls, this sculpture works to join the space into one consistent wave of calm. Intricate and visually arresting, Daar’s work utilizes the color and space of the wall in addition to its own curves, creating a dynamic play of positive and negative, shallowness and depth.
