Dungeness crabs wear their skeleton as a suit of armor which they can fold into, to look like a rock. Whether catching some waves or sunning itself on a rock, its intense colors vibrate and dance in the changing light. Loren hand forges plate steel until it transforms into a powerful dungeness crab. Freestanding or wall hung, they add an elegant touch to any room. Each of these sculptures is finished with a colorful patina, an oxidation process accelerated by heat, then powder coated with clear polyester. Also available plated with nickel or copper.
