House of Wind - By David Boyajian

House of Wind” presents the viewer with a sparse outline of a house carved of columns. The interior of the structure is open, filled only with the movement of the wind that Boyajian seems to suggest with his use of color and mark making. The idea of air as a solid form is echoed in the smoke that Boyajian renders as a heavy structure, somehow managing to push itself through the chimney. “House of Wind” explores ideas of lightness and weight, substance and form.
