Pineapples

Pineapples – By David Boyajian

Boyajian’s “Pineapples” combines the natural design of the fruit with the architectural components of an individual space. This particular pineapple had been modernized by Boyajian’s sensibility, its firm leaves shoot mightily from the top of the fruit while the spirals and spikes of the ordinary pineapple are transformed into graceful symmetrical folds. At once delicate and regal, natural and industrial, Boyajian’s “Pineapples” seem to convey an environment that is all their own.
