Washington (DC) Area Lawyers for the Arts Founded in 1983, the Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts (WALA) is a unique alliance of lawyers and artists dedicated to addressing the legal needs of creative artists and arts organizations throughout the Washington metropolitan area. St. Louis Volunteer Lawyers And Accountants For The Arts "St. Louis Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts (VLAA) offers free legal and accounting assistance, operates a mediation service, provides information about arts law and business matters through educational programming including a resource library, and supports the broader role of the arts in the community. " 

Georgia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Founded in 1975 by Benjamin T. White and Robert C. Lower, attorneys with the law firm Alston & Bird, Georgia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (GVLA) exists to serve the legal needs of the artists and arts organizations of Georgia , to promote closer contact and understanding among the the members of the legal profession and the arts community, and to educate artists about their legal rights and responsibilities. 

Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts/ New York  Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts provides several services to qualified individual artists and arts organizations in need: from The Art Law Line, open 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. EST Monday - Friday (212-319-ARTS, x. 9), to MediateArt (212-319-ARTS, x.16), our mediation service for arts-related disputes.

Ocean States Lawyers for the Arts (OSLA, Rhode Island VLA) - The Rhode Island chapter of VLA, called OCEAN STATE LAWYERS FOR THE ARTS, has been serving the local arts community since 1984. OCEAN STATE LAWYERS FOR THE ARTS (OSLA), operated in conjunction with the law office of David M. Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (PVLA) is a nonprofit legal services organization, founded in 1978 to provide pro-bono legal assistance and basic business counseling to area artists and cultural organizations. Over the years, PVLA has recruited hundreds of attorneys from large and small firms in Philadelphia and surrounding counties to our program. Volunteer attorneys work on projects such as negotiating performing contracts for actors, dancers and musicians; preparing by-laws for newly formed nonprofits; negotiating short- and long-term workspace leases and exhibition agreements; securing protection of artwork; and setting up new community-wide arts initiatives.

Texas Accountants And Lawyers For The Arts Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts (TALA)* was formed in 1979 to meet the legal and accounting needs of artists and arts organizations. TALA is the largest provider of pro bono legal and accounting services to the arts in the United States. TALA's volunteers throughout Texas handle more than 800 matters per year. This amounts to more than one million dollars annually in donated services to the arts and cultural community. TALA serves the entire state of Texas with the exception of Austin. Canadian Artist's Representation/ le Front des ArtistesCanadiens Ontario (CARFAC Ontario) is a professional non-profit association of visual artists in Ontario. Individual artists and art organizations support our work through membership and active participation. CARFAC Ontario believes that artists, like professionals in other fields, should be paid for their creative work and share equitably in any profits issuing from that work.  As the voice of professional visual artists, CARFAC Ontario works to defend cultural economic and legal rights individually and on a collective basis, as well as provide education on fair dealings with artists.
